Hayward Companies Named Finalists For East Bay Innovation Awards

Veev and Endiatx have been recognized for groundbreaking contributions in manufacturing and technology.

HAYWARD, CA — Two Hayward-based companies have been named finalists for the 2025 East Bay Innovation Awards, an annual recognition program celebrating businesses that drive innovation in manufacturing, products, services, and technology.

Veev, a modular homebuilding company, was selected as a finalist in the Manufacturing category for its advanced approach to home construction. By using prefabrication, digital technology, and sustainable materials, Veev reduces build times, costs, and environmental impact while delivering high-quality, energy-efficient homes.

Endiatx, recognized in the Product or Technology category, developed PillBot™, a groundbreaking micro-robotic capsule designed for non-invasive medical diagnostics. The ingestible device uses cameras and sensors to navigate the gastrointestinal tract, providing real-time imaging and an alternative to traditional endoscopic procedures.

The East Bay Economic Development Alliance (East Bay EDA) selected 22 finalists from more than 100 nominations across four categories: Catalyst, Community Impact, Manufacturing, and Product or Technology. A panel of subject matter experts reviewed submissions to identify the most innovative and impactful companies in the region.
