Hayward PD Community Academy Set To Begin

It's not too late to sign up for the popular academy that teaches the public about the inner workings of Haywards's police force.

HAYWARD, CA — The Hayward Police Department Community Academy might begin in just a few days, but it's not too late to sign up for the fall session, Hayward PD announced on X, the social media site formerly known as Twitter.

According to the Hayward Police Department's website about the program, the certified educational program is designed to immerse participants in the inner workings of the city's police force.

Attendees of the free, 9-week program scheduled to begin Sept. 7, at 6 p.m. at the North Hayward Resource Center, 22701 Main Street in Hayward, will engage in classes and discussions, spanning two to three hours each, for a complete look into the city's law enforcement program.
