Hayward Restaurant Opening Soon, Is Among '10 Highly Anticipated'

HAYWARD, CA — The foodies at The Mercury News included a new Hayward eatery on a list of 10 highly anticipated Bay Area restaurant openings in early 2024.

If you are looking for highfalutin food, keep looking, because Arthur Mac’s Big Snack delivers a mix of brick-oven pizza, hot wings, double-fried french fries and an assortment of gluten-free and vegan slices and snacks.

Big Snack also has a full-service cocktail bar in the garden by the BART car. Yes, a vintage 1990s BART car has been transformed into a dining compartment complete with a retro arcade and a kid’s play area.
