CASTRO VALLEY, CA — A man has died following a fight that stemmed from a road rage incident in Castro Valley over the weekend, according to multiple news reports.
Jason Elola was returning home to Tracy from San Francisco on Saturday when he decided to stop for ice cream in Castro Valley, according to a CBS News report.
A road rage incident between Elola and another driver took place at some point, and the driver struck the back of Elola's car, according to the report.

A fight ensued afterwards, and Elola suffered injuries that would prove fatal, according to multiple news reports.
The other driver was taken into custody following the fight, according to a report by Castro Valley News. It's unclear what charges, if any, they will face.

Hundreds gathered Monday night in Tracy for a vigil honoring Elola, according to CBS News.
"He was a great man who's going to have a legacy that continues forever with nine kids and four grandkids and many more to come," Elola's son told CBS News. "He brought people together and people are here now to celebrate his life."
