Motorcyclist Who Died in Crash into Parked Car Identifed
The 23-year-old San Lorenzo resident died before he could be treated at a hospital.
HAYWARD, CA: The Alameda County coroner's bureau has identified a motorcyclist who died in a crash into a parked vehicle Tuesday evening in Hayward as 23-year-old San Lorenzo resident Ricardo Mendoza Jr. Police responded at 5:10 p.m. to Hayman Street near San Antonio Street and found Mendoza had crashed into the back of a vehicle. Â
Investigators determined that Mendoza was riding north on Hayman when he lost  control of the bike on a curve, according to police. Mendoza died before he could be treated at a hospital. A witness  told investigators Mendoza was speeding before he crashed, police said.
