Redwood Christian High School Homecoming Court Honored in Ceremony

Two international students were part of Homecoming court this year.

The Homecoming was held on Saturday, Jan. 28, at in Castro Valley.

Kayla Schelling and Landon Foxworthy were selected the 2012 Homecoming Queen and King.

Queen Kayla was escorted by Jim Bell, a close family friend, and King Landon was escorted by his mother, Sherry.

Other members of the Royal Court and their escorts were: Senior Princesses Julia Bruton, escorted by her father, Robert; and Adriana Malliaris, escorted by her brother-in-law, Ryan Peck; Senior Princes Michael Rainey, escorted by his mother, Suzy; and Jonathon Sommers, escorted by his mother, Pam; Junior Princess Amy Su, escorted by her uncle, David Lai; Sophomore Princess Jena Forsberg, escorted by father, Jim; and Freshman Princess MiLim Ji, escorted by her host family father, Stanford Quan.

Both Amy (China) and MiLim (South Korea) are international students.

The Homecoming was the culmination of a busy week at Redwood Christian High School that include the Homecoming Banquet last weekend followed by Spirit Week.
