• Longtime A's scout Will Schock, a Tam High alum 'beloved by all,' dies at 61 (modbee.com) — A longtime Oakland A’s scout, Will Schock, died Saturday at Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley after complications from a brain bleed. The 61-year-old Mill Valley native and Tamalpais High alum was remembered by colleagues and former players as a kind, knowledgeable baseball lifer who loved the game and its people.
