Redwood, Palomares Road Closure Updates
One remains completely closed by storm damage while the other has reopened, with restrictions.
CASTRO VALLEY, CA — Redwood Road remains closed at mile marker 8.15, near Castro Valley, due to a washout caused by storms in January. According to the Alameda County Public Works Agency, the road will remain closed until further notice.
However, Palomares Road reopened last week, although you will encounter traffic restrictions at mile marker 1.67 and again at 8.5.
