San Lorenzo and Castro Valley Patches Merge
Two sites officially became one today, Wednesday Dec. 7.

San Lorenzo and Castro Valley news and events can now all be found under one site.
We merged the sites as part of our efforts to strengthen our coverage of both communities.
As our readers and advertisers already know, the unincorporated Alameda County communities of San Lorenzo and Castro Valley share numerous regional and business interests, and it makes sense to combine the two sites.

So often we've found that news in one town is of interest to residents of the other, so it seems easier to have it in one place.
We'll still offer the same robust coverage of everything happening in both towns. We aren’t reducing our focus on either town. This is meant to help us better coordinate coverage of the things that matter to residents of both communities.
