Special School Board Meeting to Review General Plan Before Going Before Board of Supervisors

The Castro Valley Unified School District will hold a special board meeting at 6 p.m. today at the district offices on Alma Avenue.

In a special Board meeting, the board will review the district’s support action for the “Schools” designation in the that the Alameda County Planning Commission adopted.

They will also provide staff additional direction in preparation for the hearing before the Alameda County Board of Supervisors on March 27 at 2 p.m. (There is no exhibit for this agenda item.)

The General Plan covers major planning issues, including land use, housing, open space, noise, safety, natural resource conservation, community design, development and historic preservation.
