Three-Car Crash Blocks Two Lanes on Eastbound I-580

A Sig-alert has been issued in Castro Valley, where a three-car crash is blocking two lanes on eastbound Interstate Highway 580 this afternoon, a CHP spokesman said.
Three cars collided near the Eden Canyon Road on-ramp, CHP officer Marc Johnston said.

The No. 1 and 2 lanes are blocked but are expected to be cleared by 5:15 p.m., Johnston said. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
