Traffic Alert: Crash Blocks Interstate 580

CASTRO VALLEY, CA -- Three cars crashed Saturday morning on Interstate 580. The incident was reported around 6:47 a.m. on westbound Interstate 580 near the Fairmount Drive off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP incident log said three cars crashed, blocking the two right lanes of the freeway and prompting a SigAlert.

An ambulance was called to the scene.
