West L.A Pet Hospital 'Is Nicer Than a Lot of Human Hospitals'
The faciliy is located at 1900 S. Sepulveda Blvd. just outside the border of Westwood.

With 24-hour emergency care, a team of surgeons, therapy units, MRI machines and a top oncologist on staff, the VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital is one of the largest animal care facilities in the country.
Located at 1900 S. Sepulveda Blvd. just outside the border of Westwood, the hospital was the subject of a recent profile by the Los Angeles Times, and it makes for a fascinating read.
"I'll be honest with you, this is nicer than a lot of human hospitals I've been in," a man bringing his pet to the hospital told the Times. "For the money I'm spending, I'm happy to see it's a nice facility."
The story spends a great deal of time describing the impressive facility, but also included a passage about a Westwood woman who said the hospital misdiagnosed her cat as having cancer and then refused to release her pet until she paid $1,200.
"Look at the hospital itself," Amy Chang told the Times. "It looks that shiny and bright thanks to the funds from idiots like me who would do anything for their furry kids."
