Update: Woman Fatally Struck by Metrolink Train in La Verne
A pedestrian was struck by a Metrolink train today in La Verne. She was fatally injured in the accident.

LA VERNE, CA—Authorities identified a 32-year-old woman who was fatally struck by a Metrolink train while walking along railroad tracks in La Verne.
The Los Angeles-bound train, No. 329, was operating on the San Bernardino line at about 4:20 p.m. Wednesday when it struck the woman near San Dimas Canyon Road, officials said.
Christina Humphrey, 32, died at the scene, the coroner's office reported. Her home town was not known. Anyone who witnessed the victim being struck was urged to call La Verne police at (909) 596-1913.

The Los Angeles-bound train, No. 329, was operating on the San Bernardino line at about 4:20 p.m. when it struck the victim between the Covina and Pomona North stations, Metrolink and Los Angeles County Fire Department officials said.
The person's condition, age and gender weren't immediately available.
La Verne police were investigating.
