3 East Bay Teens Arrested For Threatening School, Classmate: Cops

The middle-schoolers were booked Wednesday into Contra Costa Juvenile Hall on suspicion of conspiracy and making criminal threats.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA β€” Brentwood police arrested three juveniles Wednesday who allegedly made threats against their middle school and a fellow classmate. At 3:30 p.m., officers investigated a threat to student safety at Edna Hill Middle School at 140 Birch St. involving three students. Two of the students are 13 years old and the other is 14 years old, police said.

Police investigated and learned the students had talked about committing an act of violence at the school and threatened a fellow classmate. They were arrested Wednesday and booked into Contra Costa Juvenile Hall in Martinez on suspicion of conspiracy and making criminal threats, police said.

The parents of all three suspects were contacted and are cooperating with the investigation, police said.
