Antioch Boy, 3, In Critical Condition After Near-Drowning
Contra Costa County Fire Protection District responded Sunday afternoon to the scene. Police are investigating the incident.
ANTIOCH, CA — A 3-year-old boy is in critical condition after a near-drowning in Antioch on Sunday afternoon, police said. Firefighters responded to a possible drowning in the 3000 block of Smokey Court at 3:30 p.m.
The boy was then taken to Sutter Delta Medical Center, according to a Contra Costa County Fire Protection District spokesman.
Antioch police are currently investigating the accident.
