Child Struck By Car In Antioch, Airlifted With Serious Injuries
The child, 7, is hospitalized at UCSF Benoiff Children's Hospital in Oakland, a Contra Costa County Fire official said.
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — A 7-year-old child was seriously injured in a collision this morning in Antioch, a spokesman for the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District said. The collision was reported at 7:38 a.m. Friday in the area of Putnam Street and Lone Tree Way.
The child was struck by a vehicle and then airlifted to the University of California at San Francisco Benioff Children's Hospital in Oakland, fire district spokesman Ryan Bain said.
No other details were immediately available.
