Earthquake Felt Across Bay Area Sunday Morning
The magnitude has been adjusted a few times by the USGS.
SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, CA — An 3.5 magnitude earthquake was felt in the Bay Area Sunday morning. The earthquake comes just two days after a 3.7 temblor hit the San Francisco Zoo on Friday.
The epicenter on Sunday morning at 8:49 was originally pegged as Concord, but was later revised to Pleasant Hill, according to the United States Geological Survey. Earlier USGS calculations put the magnitude at 3.7, 3.8 and 3.9.
A 2.1 aftershock was recorded at 9:21 in Concord.
No information has been received about injuries or damage.
