Good Samaritans Step Up At Starbucks To Stop Laptop Theft: Police
Antioch police said the witnesses blocked the exit of the Starbucks and detained one of the suspects at the scene.

ANTIOCH, CA — Two young men were arrested on suspicion of attempting to steal a laptop at a Starbucks in Antioch on Monday afternoon, according to police. Police said a 19-year-old Brentwood resident and 21-year-old Bay Point resident -- whose names weren't given -- were taken into custody separately after one was held for police to arrive at the Starbucks location and the other captured by police a short time later.
According to police, good Samaritans who were watching the suspects attempt to steal the laptop stepped in, blocked the exit, and were able to detain one of them at the scene.
Police said both suspects were taken into the Contra Costa County Jail on suspicion of grand theft and other offenses.
