Car Thief, Porch Pirate And Assault Suspect Arrested In Culver City: PD

Police made a string of arrests in Culver City on Monday.

CULVER CITY, CA — The following incidents occurred in Culver City on Monday, according to the Culver City Police Department.

  • "A little after 8 a.m., officers received a notification of a stolen vehicle in the area of Sepulveda Boulevard and Green Valley Circle. Officers in the area located the vehicle and stopped it near Vera Way. The driver was placed under arrest for vehicle theft and drug charges," police said.
  • "This afternoon at about 1 p.m. hours, an officer noticed a man acting suspicious on the 9400 block of Jefferson Boulevard. Further investigation revealed the man had recently stolen a package from the porch of a nearby Culver City resident. The officers contacted the resident and returned the package to her. The suspect was arrested for theft," police said.
  • "Just before 4 p.m., Culver City Police patrolling near the 4300 block of Mentone Avenue spotted a suspect with an active felony warrant for an assault with a deadly weapon incident that occurred in Culver City. The suspect was taken safely into custody," police said.
