Culver City-Based This Bar Saves Lives Introduces Gift Box that Gives Back
For every bar in the box, the company donates a packet of life-saving food to a child in need throughout the world.

CULVER CITY, CA -- A Culver City snack bars company just released a limited-edition gift box that will also save the life children suffering from malnutrition, the company announced Wednesday.
This Bar Saves Lives, which makes a line of premium snack bars, introduced a holiday gift that gives back, the limited-edition “You’re a Lifesaver” gift box. The box is handcrafted and contains an equivalent amount snack bars needed to help save the life of a single child suffering from malnutrition, the company said.
For every bar in the box, the company donates a packet of life-saving food to a child in need throughout the world. Inside the gift box, there are 12 boxes of This Bar Saves Lives’ fruit and nut bars in a variety of flavors, and a personally signed letter from company founders Ryan Devlin, Todd Grinnell, Ravi Patel and Kristen Bell.

"This has been an amazing year for us as a company and what we and each person who loves our bars has accomplished," co-founder and CEO Ryan Devlin said. "Together, we have helped save the lives of thousands of children all over the world and we thought it would be very special to offer our TBSL family the opportunity to give the gift of life and share that extraordinary feeling."
The gift box is available in a limited run of 100 and only on the company's website for $529, shipping included. Each gift box is numbered and carved with the message, “You’re a lifesaver.”
