Culver City DMV Extends Hours As Real ID Deadline Approaches
Beginning May 7, you'll need a Real ID-compliant license to get on an airplane.

CULVER CITY, CA — As the deadline approaches for travelers to show a Real ID at airports, the Culver City DMV is expanding its hours to accommodate people seeking the federally mandated cards.
On May 7, travelers will be required to show a Real ID-compliant license, passport or passport card in order to board domestic flights. Regular licenses won't work — Real ID-compliant licenses are ones issued by the state DMV after applicants provide identifying information such as Social Security numbers.
Real ID-compliant cards will also be required to enter federal buildings and military installations.
