Culver City Election Results: Voters Overwhelming Approved Funding for Clean-Water Projects
Voters approved Measure CW by 73.9 percent of the vote, well above the two-thirds requirement to pass.

CULVER CITY, CA -- Culver City voters approved Measure CW on Tuesday night, which would establish a $99 parcel tax to fund clean-water projects.
Voters approved the measure by 73.9 percent of the vote, well above the two-thirds requirement to pass. Measure CW would raise an estimated $2 million a year. The proceeds would be dedicated primarily to clean-water projects, such as projects to prevent pollutants from reaching waterways and creeks, improving storm drains, capturing urban runoff and ensuring compliance with clean water laws.
Culver City residents also approved a pair of measures, CB and CD, concerning the city council by a wide margin. Measure CB would prohibit anyone who has resigned from the city council from running for the council for two years following their resignation.
