Lachman Leads Field Of 3 Candidates For CCUSD Board: Semi-Final Results
Here are the latest results for the CCUSD board election, updated as officials release ballot tallies.
CULVER CITY, CA — Andrew Lachman and Lindsay Carlson are leading a field of three candidates vying for two seats on the Culver City Unified School District board, according to semi-final election results.
Lachman and Carlson are in the lead for the seats being vacated by incumbents Kelly Kent and Paula Amezola. Sameen Ahmadnia is trailing behind them.
The two highest vote getters will be elected to four-year terms to the CCUSD board.

Here's the latest count:
- Lachman — 37.20% — 8,769 votes
- Carlson — 34.98% — 8,245 votes
- Ahmadnia — 27.82% — 6,556
The results reflect 2.62 million ballots counted countywide by early Wednesday morning, representing 45.59% of registered voters, which the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk's Office said were "semi-final results." The results also reflect another approximately 80,000 counted ballots reported by the registrar's office on Wednesday afternoon.

There are still "many" ballots left to count: The registrar plans to release updated counts each day after 4 p.m. until all ballots are counted and the results are certified, the registrar's office said.
