DUI Driver Crashes Into 6 Vehicles In Culver City

A suspected intoxicated driver crashed into multiple parked and moving vehicles on a major roadway in Culver City Wednesday.

CULVER CITY, CA — A suspected intoxicated driver crashed into multiple parked and moving vehicles on a major roadway in Culver City Wednesday, leaving the motorist injured and facing an expected arrest.

The crash occurred about 9 a.m. when a man struck two parked vehicles and then collided with four more on Sepulveda Boulevard, according to Culver City Police Department spokeswoman Jennifer Atenza.

"Culver City police were on scene quickly," she said in an email to City News Service. "The driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, and once medically cleared, will be arrested for suspicion of DUI."

Three other people from vehicles involved reported minor complaints of pain, Atenza said.

Sepulveda Boulevard was closed in both directions between Culver Boulevard and Braddock Drive during the investigation and reopened about 11:30 a.m.
