More Than 3,000 People Lose Power On Westside During Heavy Rains
More than 3,000 Los Angeles Department of Water & Power customers on the Westside lost power during heavy rains Tuesday.
PALMS, CA — More than 3,000 Los Angeles Department of Water & Power customers lost power Tuesday in Westside neighborhoods Palms and Rancho Park, the utility reported.
The outage in Palms was reported about 12:25 p.m. and affected 2,310 customers in the neighborhood, according to DWP. No estimated time of repair was immediately available.
The outage in Rancho Park was also reported about the same time and affected 1,215 customers in the area. An estimated restoration time is expected by about 4 p.m., the utility said.
