More 405 Closures Friday Night Through Saturday Morning

As the I-405 Sepulveda Pass Improvements Project moves into the summer, a major lane reduction will take place Fri. night, June 21 into Sat. morning June 22. 

Here are the latest details. Also, please see the attached notice:

• Lane 1 and 2 will be closed on the northbound I-405 from Sunset Boulevard to the Getty Center Drive ramps.
• The lane reduction will be implemented the night of Friday, June 21 at 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday morning on June 22.
• Lane reduction will last 12 hours, from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.
• Lanes 3, 4 and 5 will remain open. 
  

Metro states this lane reduction is necessary to conduct concrete paving on the center median area of the freeway to widen the carpool lane.
