New Portal Allows Culver City Residents To Request Homeless Services Response

There's now an easy way for Culver City residents to file reports that could help connect homeless people to supportive services.

CULVER CITY, CA — The city has launched a new online portal that allows residents to request support for people experiencing homelessness.

The Homeless Outreach Request Portal allows members of the public to report observations of people who may be in need. The reports are directed to the city's Mobile Crisis Team and Leading Outreach with Valued Engagement team, which are equipped to help connect homeless people with housing, healthcare, mental health services and more.

“This new portal represents an important step forward in how we care for our unhoused neighbors,” Mayor Dan O’Brien said. “By inviting the community to take part in the outreach process, we’re ensuring that our teams can act faster and more effectively to connect people with the services and support they deserve.”
