• Culver City Names First Openly LGBTQ+ Mayor as Council Selects New Leadership (westsidetoday.com) — Culver City has selected Councilmember Freddy Puza as its first openly LGBTQ+ mayor for 2026, with Bubba Fish as vice mayor and Odis Jones as the next city manager. Puza pledged to prioritize housing affordability, climate action, fiscal transparency, and civil rights while raising Culver City’s profile as a destination and strengthening residents’ sense of belonging.
   

• Boys' Soccer: St. Francis Rallies in Second Half to Secure Tie Against Culver City (outlooknewspapers.com) — Culver City High’s boys’ soccer team traveled to St. Francis and battled to a wild 4–4 draw after leading much of the match.
