They've teamed up with local restaurant powerhouse guru Wes Aziz, who will be running the show as Operating Partner. The Jhanda family—deeply rooted in the Danville community—is stepping in with one goal: keep everything locals love about Primos, while breathing in new life where it counts. Think: the same welcoming vibe, comfort classics on the menu, plus a few fresh twists and surprises coming soon. "Primos is legendary in Danville and has a great soul," said Jimmy Jhanda. "We're not here to change that—we're here to protect it, refresh it, and make sure it's still around for the next 50 years." Jhanda sold and exited his wildly successful tech staffing franchise 12 months ago and retired. One goal during retirement, for both him, and his wife Jennifer was to make an investment in the local Danville community and Primo's checked all the boxes. Great Food. Energized Sports. Community Feel. "Primos is part of the fabric of this town," said Jennifer Jhanda. "We're just adding a few new threads." Wes Aziz, known for turning restaurants into neighborhood hotspots, is bringing his signature energy and expertise to the day-to-day. More flavor, more fun, and more community—that's the mission." WALNUT CREEK, CA — A man who died after his car crashed into a ditch in Walnut Creek on Thursday morning has been identified by the Contra Costa County coroner's office as 82-year-old Alamo resident Stanley Mehlhoff. The crash was reported at about 10:30 a.m. and involved a Volkswagen sedan that crashed into the ditch near Danville Boulevard and Rudgear Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. Officers arrived to find Mehlhoff unresponsive in his car. He was pronounced dead shortly afterward.CHP officials said investigators determined the Volkswagen was traveling west on Rudgear Road and for some reason drove through the intersection with Danville Boulevard and went off the roadway.Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the CHP's Contra Costa-area office at (925) 646-4980.By Bay City NewsPhoto via Shutterstock
