Danville Man Arrested in Home Burglary
A pair of firearms stolen during home burglary have yet to be recovered, police said.

Here's information provided by the Danville Police Department:
A 20 year-old Danville man is facing several charges in connection with a Wednesday morning residential burglary.
According to Police Chief Steve Simpkins, the incident occurred at 11:43 a.m. in the 1000 block of Fountain Springs Circle. The homeowner returned to the residence and encountered an intruder upon entering the home. The intruder pointed a gun at the homeowner and her child, holding them hostage briefly and forcing them to move through the house before fleeing.

Detectives working on the investigation developed a suspect, Brendan Fagen, 20, of Danville. Fagen was arrested without incident yesterday and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility, where he was booked on two counts of kidnapping with intent to commit robbery, and one count each of burglary, robbery and false imprisonment. Fagen is being held in lieu of $2,175,000 bail.
Detectives are actively investigating this case. Two firearms were stolen from the victim's residence and have not yet been recovered. As part of the ongoing investigation, police are seeking to recover the weapons. Â
