Danville School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacations

DANVILLE, CA — The first day of school in Danville is August 13 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Danville School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 8/13: First Day of School/Half Day (Grades TK-12)

September

• 9/3: No School (Labor Day)

October

• 10/8 - 10/12: Parent Teacher Conferences (Grades TK-8)
• 10/31: Minimum Day (Grades TK-12)

November

• 11/2: No School (Staff Development)
• 11/12: No School (Veterans Day)
• 11/19 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/20: Minimum Day (Grades TK-8)
• 12/21 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1 - 1/4: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/15: No School (Staff Development)
• 2/18: No School (Veterans Day)

March

• 3/13 - 3/15: Parent Teacher Conferences (Grades TK-8)
• 3/29: Minimum Day (Grades TK-12)

April

• 4/1 - 4/5: No School (Spring Break)

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)
• 5/31: Last Day of School/Minimum Day
