Evacuation Warning Lifted For Diablo Residents
A 5-acre fire burning near Mt. Diablo has caused the Contra Contra Sheriff to issue a Level 2 Evacuation Warning.
DIABLO, CA — An evacuation warning for residents of Diablo has been lifted, according to the Contra Costa Community Warning System.
Residents living between Blackhawk Road and Green Valley Trail in Diablo were under an Evacuation Warning Level 2 Tuesday afternoon due to a 5-acre wildfire. See here for a map of the affected area.
An All Clear was given at around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday

As of 12:34 p.m., the Alameda Fire is approximately 5 acres with a slow rate of spread, and located near Alameda Diablo, near the base of Mt. Diablo, according to Incident Command via the Watch Duty app. It is 0% contained.

At the same time, a 62-acre fire is burning in Rodeo, though forward progress has been stopped.
