Harry Potter-Themed Parody Play Coming To Danville

DANVILLE, CA — Each July 31, Danville celebrates Harry Potter's birthday with Quidditch matches and butter beer at the Village Green.

This October, however, the Village Theatre in Danville is exploring another Hogwarts student in its performance of "PUFFS, Or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic."

The New York Times described the play, which has been performed around the country as a "fast-paced romp....that exudes a jovial, winking fondness for all things Harry."

PUFFS will run Oct. 3-5 and Oct. 10-12 at the Village Theatre. Performances will take place Fridays and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $37 for adults and $27 for kids, and are available to purchase here.
