1 Dead After Car Fire Spreads To Danville Home: SRVFPD
A burning car caused a Danville home to catch on fire, killing one, according to the fire department.
DANVILLE, CA — One person died after a car fire led to a garage fire on Oneida Court in Danville, according to San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District Deputy Chief Jonas Aguiar.
The fire broke out at around 1:12 p.m. Monday on the 400 block of Oneida Court in Danville, just off Crow Canyon Road and near the Bay Club Crow Canyon, according to the Pulsepoint app. A car caught on fire, and came into contact with the garage of a residential home, according to Aguiar. It's not immediately clear whether the car was inside or outside the garage at the time, he said.
The fire then extended to the rest of the home, leading to one fatality.

Firefighters got the fire under control at around 1:50 p.m., and the home remains standing, Aguiar said.
The cause of the fire and the nature of the fatality remain under investigation, and Aguiar declined to give further information.

At the height of the fire, 11 fire engines were present, with more en route. As of 2:36 p.m., ten engines remain on scene, and one more is en route, according to Pulsepoint. Four engines have been cleared, though the fire is still listed as "active."
