Sewer Repair Closes Pedestrian Trail Near Danville Middle School

There is no estimate today for when the trail will reopen.

DANVILLE, CA — A pedestrian trail near Los Cerros Middle School in Danville has been closed today due to emergency sewer pipe repair, according to police. The segment of closed trail runs between Hill and Blemer roads, Danville police said in an advisory sent just before 11 a.m.

Repairs are being conducted by the Central Contra Costa Sanitary District, according to police. There is no estimate today for when the trail will reopen. Drivers in the area are asked to be cautious since pedestrians and bicyclists who typically use the trail will have to take alternate routes.
