Shooting In Downtown Danville, 1 arrested: Report

The shooting happened early Sunday morning near the Kick N' Mule Bar and Kitchen.

DANVILLE, CA — A Concord man was arrested Sunday morning around 1:20 after police say he fired a gun after a fight by Kick N’ Mule Bar and Kitchen in downtown Danville, Danville San Ramon reported. The bar and grill is on Hartz Avenue.

Police did not find any victims, the website reported.

Jacob Filipo, 20, was arrested on suspicion of discharging a firearm in a grossly negligent manner, carrying a concealed firearm, possessing a loaded firearm and resisting arrest, the website reported.

Filipo was booked in the Martinez Detention Facility with those charges and another relating to an unrelated suspected 16-count outstanding warrant, according to the website.
