More: You can spend the day at the fair celebrating the holiday. Gates open at 10 a.m. with an opening ceremony before at 9:30 a.m. in front of O’Brien Gate.
*If you don’t want to spend the day at the fair you can watch the fireworks from Del Mar Dog Beach across the road on 101, or from any other beach in Solana Beach or Del Mar.
Street parking for these locations is limited so get there early.
