DUBLIN, CA — Dishdash, the first full-service Middle Eastern restaurant in Silicon Valley, will soon open a Dublin location, the restaurant announced.

Emad Ibrahim and Nadiah Mshasha opened the first Dishdash location in Sunnyvale in 2001. Since then, they opened up five locations around the South Bay in Fremont, Milpitas, San Jose, and Cupertino, which includes fast casual counter service Dish n Dash.

Restaurant owner Nadiah Mshasha told Patch that they’re aiming to open a roughly 5,000-square-foot location in Dublin with an enclosed patio in the first quarter of 2026. The Dublin restaurant will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

“As our current locations focus on serving primarily the South Bay (aside from our location in Fremont), Emad was interested in expanding to the East Bay, specifically Dublin, for several reasons,” Mshasha said. “Over the years, as many of our family members have moved toward Dublin and the Tri Valley area, they have mentioned the opportunity for an upscale fast casual Middle Eastern establishment amongst the existing fast food options. We also felt the Dublin and Tri Valley area really shares many of the essential characteristics of the community we serve in the Silicon Valley; ethnically diverse, busy individuals and families looking for high quality, easily accessible, authentic Middle Eastern food and companies seeking professional, consistent, customizable and fresh catering options.”

Dishdash features Middle Eastern staples like hummus, falafel, tabouli, babaghanoush, and pita bread, which are all made fresh every day from a central kitchen. They also offer salads, shawarma, kebabs, and meat entrées, and customers can also combine ingredients to make their own salads or wraps.
