Dublin To Celebrate International Walk And Roll To School Day
The City of Dublin and Alameda County Safe Routes to Schools program will observe International Walk & Roll to School Day on Wed., Oct. 6.
DUBLIN, CA -- The City of Dublin and the Alameda County Safe Routes to Schools program are inviting members of the community to join them in celebrating International Walk and Roll to School Day on Wed., Oct. 6.
The City of Dublin is encouraging students to walk, bike, skate, or scooter to school this Wednesday. Dublin's Mayor and City Councilmembers plan to be at several schools to meet and greet the students that morning: Cottonwood Creek School, Dougherty Elementary, Dublin Elementary, Fallon Middle School, Frederiksen Elementary, and Kolb Elementary.
Although not all Dublin schools are participating in the formal Walk and Roll to School Day event, all families in Dublin are encouraged to participate by:

- Taking a walk, or riding a bike, skateboard, or scooter.
- Biking with your child on their own or with a trail-a-bike.
- Taking the bus with your child and walking to and from the bus stop.
