Dublin Chinese New Year Celebration Forthcoming

Ring in the Chinese New Year with traditional Chinese dance, kung fu and more. Date to be announced.

DUBLIN, CA — The city of Dublin's Chinese New Year celebration next month is in the works, but the date has yet to be announced.

The event will feature traditional dance, lion dances, comedy, kung fu and choir performances, according to the event flyer. 2022 signifies the year of the tiger.

The event was initially slated for early February in the Performing Arts Center, but has since been postponed amid the COVID-19 surge. Tickets were refunded to those who purchased in advance.

The event will be co-sponsored by the Asian and Pacific Americans for Public Affairs Tri-Valley Chapter.
