Dublin 'Nature In Our Backyard' Photo Winners Announced

DUBLIN, CA —Four Dubliners captured the majesty of the area in the city’s “Nature in Our Backyard” photography contest. A panel of judges narrowed 198 submissions down to ten, and online voters selected the top four.

The grand-prize winner was a mesmerizing reflection of a blue sky over a pond called “Double Dublin,” taken by Remy Begin. First place was “Golden Serenity” by Bharathi Kakilate, a snap of a cow grazing in front of an endless expanse of rolling green hills. Second place went to “Fall” by Prasad Takkar, an autumnal shot of fallen leaves and orange trees that wouldn’t look out of place in New England. Third place went “Seasons Bounty” by Rita Szollos, a shot of a golden sunset reflected over water. Enjoy the photos above.
