Mayor, Police Chief Taking It To The Streets For Annual Bike Ride

The pair will cycle through Dublin giving residents a chance to share thoughts and views about the city.

DUBLIN, CA — Mayor Melissa Hernandez and Police Chief Nate Schmidt will take to the streets of Dublin for a two-wheeled adventure focusing on community conversation Sunday, Oct. 8 and its not too late to register to ride along with the pair, the city said.

The ride will start at 9 a.m. at Dick's Sporting Goods, 2820 Dublin Boulevard, and make stops at Emerald Glen Park, 4201 Central Parkway, and Don Biddle Community Park, 100 Horizon Parkway, before finally ending at the Dublin Public Safety Complex, 6361 Clark Avenue, a news release announcing the event said.

Residents are invited to come out to each of the stops, or even join in on the ride where those in attendance will engage in conversations about the city, including the opportunity to share thoughts and views about Dublin that are important to them.
