Meet The Dublin School Board Candidates
We talked to the two candidates vying for the Area 1 seat, the only district in contention.
DUBLIN, CA —With elections just a few weeks away and ballots being mailed, Patch is publishing profiles on Dublin's candidates for school board, city council, and mayor. The only contested race for the Dublin Unified School District Board of Trustees is Area 1, located in the city's southwest. The two candidates running for the seat are Kristian Reyes, a DUSD parent who served on the district's Budget Committee and volunteered for school music programs, and Ramnath Shanbhogue, a parent, assistant coach, and community volunteer.
Area 4 Trustee Gabi Blackman is running unopposed for re-election.
To help voters get to know the candidates better, Patch reached out to each candidate with nine identical questions. Below are their answers, listed alphabetically.
