New Indian Restaurant Opens In Dublin

Pippal, an award-winning restaurant in Emeryville, opened a Dublin location focused on diverse cuisines from all over India.

DUBLIN, CA — Pippal, an award-winning Indian restaurant in Emeryville, has opened a Dublin location on Tassajara Road, near Safeway and Dave's Hot Chicken.

The menu features a rich variety of cuisines from across India, ranging from prawn pepper fry from Kerala to Roasted Gunpowder Idli from Tamil Nadu to Mutton Gushtaba from Kashmir.

It also features a full drinks menu with wine, cocktails, mocktails, sparkling and champagne, beers, teas, and coffees. There's also a kids menu with comfort food like French fries, butter chicken, ice cream, and mango lassi.

"Born from a passion for India's diverse cuisine, Pippal showcases authentic dishes from different regions of India," the restaurant said on its website. "We celebrate the rich tapestry of our culinary heritage, presenting it a new for today's palate. Here at Pippal, you're not just dining; you're part of a story."

Ordering is available online, and the restaurant also hosts group dining and events.

Pippal's sister restaurant in San Francisco, ROOH, is listed in the Michelin Guide, according to a report from the Bay Area News Group.

Pippal in Dublin is located at 4500 Tassajara Road, Suite C. It is open Monday through Thursday from 5-10 p.m., and Friday through Sunday from 12-2:30 p.m. and 5-10 p.m.
