Police Seize 3 Kilos Of Cocaine, Assault Weapons From Dublin Home

A search of a Dublin home uncovered evidence of drug dealing and weapons and led to one arrest, police said.

DUBLIN, CA — A search of a Dublin home last week allegedly uncovered evidence of drug dealing and weapons and led to one arrest, the Alameda County Sheriff's Office said.

The county narcotics task force worked with the US Drug Enforcement Administration to serve a search warrant to a residence on Markleeville Road in Dublin on Thursday.

Law enforcement allegedly seized three kilograms of cocaine, evidence consistent with the manufacturing of cocaine base, "numerous" empty kilo wrappers with cocaine residue, packaging materials, scales, two assault rifles, one handgun and $15,900 in cash.

Arrested was Dominic Smith, aka Khan Ahmed Aziz Hassan, 49, a felon.
