Encinitas Housing Measure T Forum Thursday
Voters can hear about the impact of passage or rejection of Measure T, Thursday, Oct. 13, at 6 p.m. at the Encinitas Library.

ENCINITAS, CA - There's a lot on the Nov. 8 ballot that Californians will be deciding, such as 17 statewide ballot measures. In Encinitas, voters will have one more local measure vote for or against.
The Measure T housing plan reflects City Council actions taken to bring Encinitas into compliance with state housing law.
The community engagement nonprofit Engage Encinitas is hosting a forum Thursday, Oct. 13, at 6 p.m. at the Encinitas Library, 540 Cornish Drive.

Voters can hear community members who support and oppose Measure T explain their views and learn more about the impact of passage or rejection of this ballot measure.

- Shall City Council Resolution No. 2016-52 and Ordinance No. 2016-04, which collectively update the City’s General Plan Housing Element, amend related General Plan provisions, and amend Specific Plans, Zoning Code, Zoning Map, Municipal Code, and Local Coastal Program, in an effort to comply with State law, incentivize greater housing affordability, implement rules to protect the character of existing neighborhoods, maintain local control of Encinitas zoning, and resolve existing lawsuits, be adopted?
