Georgie is a 10-year-old, 8-1/2-pound, male, Shih Tzu / Poodle mix.
He was surrendered when his owner was no longer able to care for him. He’s lived in foster care with men, women, and a cat. He and the cat sunbathed together.
Georgie is house trained. He likes small cat toys and burrowing in his blankets.

His $75 adoption fee includes medical exam, neuter, vaccinations, microchip, and a one-year license if his new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society. If his adopter is 60 or older, his fee will be paid by a generous RCHS benefactor.

Join Rancho Coastal Humane Society at a special adoption event on Saturday, June 21st from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Skechers in The Pavilion Shopping Center at 1950 Hacienda Drive in Vista.
This event will celebrate Carina, a San Diegan and UCLA student who recently won the “Paws for a Cause” shoe design contest.
Skechers and PetcoLove will present her with a check, along with a grant donation to her chosen animal welfare organization—Rancho Coastal Humane Society. Skechers will give special discount cards for shoes.
“Happy Tales” Make Happy Tails at Rancho Coastal Humane Society when children read aloud to the dogs, cats, and rabbits available for adoption.
Happy Tales is for children 6 and older. The cost is $10 per child. Pre-registration required.

Upcoming sessions include Saturday, June 2nd, Sunday June 22nd, Saturday, June 28th, and Sunday, June 29th. Sessions are limited to 6 children. Each child must be supervised by a parent. Readers can bring their own books or borrow a book from the RCHS Library.
