Remarkable Rusty is Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet This Week

Remarkable Rusty is a 2-year-old, 44-pound, male, Shepherd mix.

When a family found Remarkable Rusty in their neighborhood, they took him home. Nobody came to claim him so they took him to a shelter. Then Remarkable Rusty was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS).

Rusty asks for attention. He jumps up to give hugs. Loud noises scare him. He likes kids and gets along with other dogs.

His $145 adoption fee includes medical exam, neuter, vaccinations, microchip, and a one-year license if his new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society. See Price Waiver below.

Adoption fees for all adult dogs and cats at Rancho Coastal Humane Society are waived through August 31st during NBC Universal Local’s Clear the shelters pet adoption and donation campaign.

As part of the nationwide initiative, NBC and Telemundo stations partner with animal shelters and rescues in their communities to promote pet adoption and raise funds for participating shelters and rescues.

During Clear the Shelters adoption fees for adult pets will be waived at Rancho Coastal Humane Society.
