Track Repair Work Scheduled Overnight In Encinitas, North County

ENCINITAS, CA —If you hear loud sounds overnight in Encinitas, don't be alarmed. North County Transit crews will be hard at work through Tuesday on the Leucadia Boulevard area tracks, the city of Encinitas announced.

Work was slated to begin Monday night at 9 p.m. and last through Tuesday at 5 a.m. on the train tracks from Leucadia Boulevard to La Costa Avenue, they said.

"Please be aware that there may be some loud noise and bright lights in the area during these hours. Thank you for your understanding and patience!" they said.

The work was considered "scheduled maintenance," according to the city.
